1 carton of button mushroom stemmed (Washed)
1 tube of Jimmy Dean Sage Saugage
1 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated
½ tsp. Garlic Powder
½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1- 8oz package cream cheese at room temperature
1 large egg yolk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut the stems off the mushrooms and gently scoop out the remainder. Leaving a perfect area to spoon the above mixture into. Blend on slow speed all of the above ingredients (Yield some of the cheese to sprinkle on top. Put a heaping spoonful of the sausage mixture into the mushrooms.
Place stuffed mushrooms (Stuffed side up of course) on a baking pan(I line mine with tin foil) and bake until mushrooms are tender and filling is brown on top, about 20-25 minutes.
Gently sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top of the mushrooms.
Moy's note: It is perfectly normal to see lots of juice on the bottom of the dish when they are baked. I gently transfer them to a more presentable dish.
These mushrooms have been a huge hit with everyone (including the kids). I even made them for when all the guys got together for a Halo night. They were gone so fast.
